By creating an account and using Isikoqokoqo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of South Africa to use the Service. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including a valid South African ID number for verification purposes.
As part of our compliance requirements, you must complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. This includes submitting a valid South African ID document and a selfie. Your account may be restricted until verification is complete.
You may create savings plans with lock periods of 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. Funds deposited are locked until the plan reaches maturity. Early withdrawals are not permitted except in cases determined by Isikoqokoqo policy.
Deposits can be made via cash vouchers, EFT, or card. Withdrawals are processed to your registered bank account upon plan maturity. You are responsible for providing accurate banking details.
A key fee is charged when purchasing a key to activate a savings plan. Additional fees may apply for certain services and will be disclosed before any transaction is completed.
Isikoqokoqo may from time to time offer referral rewards to members who invite others to join the platform. Any referral rewards, eligibility criteria, and payout terms will be communicated through the app at the time such a programme is active. Isikoqokoqo reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral programme at any time.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. Isikoqokoqo is not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials.
Isikoqokoqo is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, except as required by South African law.
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Isikoqokoqo is operated by ISIKOQOKOQO SAVINGS (PTY) LTD (Reg. No. 2026/592473/07), a private company registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in South Africa. We are currently in the process of registering with the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) as an Accountable Institution and are engaging with the relevant regulators to confirm our status under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA). In the meantime, we conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) verification on all members and are implementing a Risk Management and Compliance Programme (RMCP) to support our anti-money-laundering obligations once registration is finalised.
